Volcano FR120 mailbox has been designed in accordance to the stringent fire standard BS EN 1363-1:2020 to restrict any potential fire ignited inside. As mailboxes are usually installed at apartment entries, those entrances are at the same time, the escape routes in case of a fire. That is why a fire-rated mailbox should be taken into a consideration. The Volcano FR120 has been tested by Warrington Fire in United Kingdom, where the temperature reached 1053ºC for a 2h duration without showing any flames or external damage.
